Dork Wallet

Below is the tutorial for the crocheted argyle pattern Dork Wallet - there are links to the pdf of this tutorial at the bottom of the post.

EDIT Dec07: The links to the downloadable .pdf got screwy. Sorry. I've uploaded the pdf to a new site - click here to get to a page where you can download it.

The photos of the wallet (as well as photos of the pocket-flap design) can be found here, or if that gets screwy you can navigate from here. If you make a Dork Wallet, send me a photo and I'll include it in the set.

The chart link is here (sorry, not printer friendly - although following a chart for an argyle pattern is like following a recipe for toast. If you look at the chart, it's just a simple matter of starting/ending the colour a stitch before or a stitch after).

Questions/comments in the comments section, or you can email me -

[EDIT: Poop, I forgot to mention the reason why the stitches in this wallet are so tight: strength. Lots and lots of strength - I got sick of wallets breaking down on me, falling to peices, zippers not working, stitching fraying... Tight, tiny little SC stitches = strength.]
